Join the Change Agent Consortium and the Change Agent Consortium Economic Group for our first annual 2018 Awards Dinner and Year End Meeting on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 6:30 pm.
The Change Agent Consortium was founded in 2013. The organization has been on the forefront of fight for civil rights, economic parity and social justice in Michigan and across the continental United States. The Change Agent Consortium Economic Group was founded in 2017. In 2018, the group an economic cooperative and investment club purchased 50% of a convenience store on the west side of Detroit. To date the group has the distinction of being apart of the only African American convenience store in Michigan.
Since the founding of the Change Agent Consortium, we have only lost two founding members who were consistent in their involvement and persistent in their dedication - Carolyn Brown and Dr. Samuel H. Bullock Jr. Dr. Bullock was a founding member of the board, he was our consistent host for meetings and spiritual guide as we fought for social justice. He leaves a void that cannot be filled, but we will continue to honor his life with an unending commitment to Justice.
